Sprouts Early Childhood Development Centre - Capstan Phase 2

Bingham + Hill Architects designed the first city-owned childhood development hub in Capstan Village. The YMCA of Greater Vancouver runs the Sprouts Early Childhood Development Hub (ECD), which provides 92 licensed childcare spaces for infants, toddlers and children up to 12 years old, as well as spaces for community-based programs. Sprouts is located next to Capstan Neighbourhood Park by No. 3 Road. Daycare spaces are purpose-designed and scaled for children having their own room or rooms that are fully furnished and equipped. This facility includes a toy and resource library, a commercial kitchen, and an outdoor amenity space for children and their families.
